R. Jesse Farrell, MD is an Internal Medicine trained physician originally from North-Jersey committed to serving the patients in his community. He started his medical journey at Fairfield University in CT, earning a bachelors degree in Biology and Philosophy, with honors. Following this, Dr. Farrell worked as a physical therapist aide with ActiveCare, garnering hands-on experience treating patients with debilitating musculoskeletal or neuropathic issues. After which, he completed his study of Medicine at St. George’s University and subsequent clinical training at Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr. Farrell completed medical school and clinical rotations with honors and used this invaluable clinical experience to intern at Nassau University Medical Center. Dr. Farrell then completed his residency with New York Medical College at St. Clare’s Health and St. Mary’s General Hospital in Internal Medicine. At present, he is affiliated with the St. Clares Health and St. Mary’s Hospital systems.
Areas of expertise include annual physicals, athletic clearances, chronic health conditions management, geriatric care, timely screening tests and urgent care needs. His passions for Medicine include preventative care, serving underprivileged populations, and the musculoskeletal system. These interests lead him to becoming a certified USA Boxing Ringside Physician covering high-profile combat sports events in the Tri-state area.
He is fluent in English and near-fluent in Spanish. In his free time, Dr. Farrell enjoys going to Lake Hopatcong, playing soccer, and watching action movies.
