
Dr. Majmundar is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology, with board eligibility in Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular Medicine. He has authored multiple first-author peer-reviewed publications in leading cardiovascular journals, including the European Heart Journal, Journal of the American Heart Association (JAHA), Journal of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions (JSCAI), Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC), EuroIntervention, and several other respected journals. He has also presented his research at numerous national and international cardiovascular conferences. His academic interests include coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, structural heart disease, and advanced cardiovascular interventions.
Dr. Majmundar provides comprehensive cardiovascular care with expertise in coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), intravascular imaging, physiologic coronary assessment, and the treatment of complex coronary artery disease, including chronic total occlusions (CTO). He has a special interest in peripheral vascular medicine and endovascular therapy, providing minimally invasive treatment for peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, and critical limb ischemia, supported by advanced fellowship training in carotid artery stenting, lower-extremity endovascular interventions, renal denervation for resistant hypertension, and other catheter-based vascular procedures.
