Dr. Antonella Auciello is a board-certified internist with almost 30 years of clinical experience and expertise in all aspects of medical care of adult patients. Prior to joining Advanced Cardiology and Primary Care, she founded a primary care practice in Hackettstown with Atlantic Health Systems-Atlantic Medical Group. During this time, she served as managing physician as well as several committee member positions at Hackettstown Medical Center.
She graduated summa cum laude from Montclair State University in Biology. She attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey- Rutgers Medical School, where she also completed her residency program in Internal Medicine. She also served as Chief resident in Primary Care at the Veterans Administration Medical Center at East Orange.
Dr. Auciello specializes in the care of patients with multiple complex medical conditions, coordinating their care with other medical specialists and uncovering root causes of disease. She has additional interest in integrative medicine, obesity treatment, longevity and anti-aging. She derives satisfaction from helping patients achieve their long term health goals through shared decision- making.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, especially traveling and learning more about their Italian culture and heritage. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening, reading medical mysteries and physical fitness.
