Jason Kaplan, MD

Dr. Jason Kaplan completed his medical education at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences at St. Kitts, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at McLaren Oakland in Pontiac, Michigan, where he served as Chief Resident and was named Researcher of the Year. He then completed a General Cardiology fellowship at McLaren Macomb-Oakland in Mount Clemens, Michigan. He subsequently completed his Interventional Cardiology fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, New York, where he received the Best in Teaching Award, as voted on by his peers.

Dr. Kaplan is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and Internal Medicine. He has an extensive clinical research background, with presentations at major national and international conferences. His peer-reviewed publications cover diverse cardiovascular topics, including complex coronary disease, thromboembolic disorders, and rare congenital anomalies.

Dr. Kaplan specializes in general cardiology, coronary interventions, endovascular interventions, and the management of cardiogenic shock with mechanical circulatory support. He is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered cardiovascular care with a focus on procedural precision and long-term outcomes.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching football and basketball, and traveling.
